Adam Elbaum

Wonderful course! Very worthwhile investment - Adam explained every facet of thread work in great detail, answered all of our questions and shared tips and techniques that can only be learned from a pro who has decades of real world work. I am already using some of what I have learned at my gigs - and it is getting great reactions! Highly recommended! Adam is a great teacher!!

This was a fantastic course! Adam taught incredibly powerful material from his working repertoire and clearly explained how to overcome the most common pitfalls of using invisible thread. He shared multiple tips to reduce breakage, exercises to become more comfortable with the setup, how to keep the thread out of the way when performing other effects, and how he disproves thread as a method before spectators even consider it. Most importantly, Adam explained how each routine has evolved over time and why he performs the effects the way that he does. I am incredibly excited to rehearse and eventually perform the material that I learned in this course. If you are looking to actually perform levitations and animations that look like real magic, look no further.

The course was full of excellent real world experience and ideas. Icovered a range of material, both traditional (floating things) and outside the box (items jumping around, coins across, etc.) Adam laid out an exacting method to prep invisible thread and great demonstrations of performing with it. He was also generous with his time, running over on every class and encouraging us to contact him in the future for help. A+ would recommend.

A fair warning before you book Adam: his one-on-one will spoil you. The advice is so specific to you and your act that everything else - books, courses, generic "tips", all starts to feel like filler by comparison. I came in to work on marketing and sales and left with a pages full of marketing and business strategy I could use the same day, which I'm sure will bring in far more than it cost. Easily the best value for money rather than just purchasing another trailer only trick that will sit in the drawer.
