Sleight School is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we’ve done
- Semantic page structure with proper headings and landmarks.
- Keyboard-navigation support with visible focus indicators.
- Alt text for meaningful images and ARIA labels for icon-only controls.
- Respect for operating-system reduced-motion preferences.
- Color contrast that targets WCAG AA for text and interactive controls.
Known limitations
- Live video sessions use third-party providers (Daily, Zoom, Vimeo) whose player controls may not fully meet AA.
- Some community content is member-generated and may not always include captions or alt text.
- We are continually auditing older pages and components for remaining issues.
Report an accessibility issue
If you encounter a barrier, please let us know. Use the contact options in your account dashboard, or reply to any email from Sleight School, and we’ll work with you to provide access and address the issue.
Third-party content
Parts of our site embed content from Stripe, Google, Vimeo, and others. We cannot fully control the accessibility of third-party widgets, but we choose providers that follow accessibility standards where possible.
